Ride For New Beginnings
July 11 - July 15, 2012
Plans are well under way for this year's 16th Annual Harbor House 400! As it has been the last few years, the ride offers 3 levels of participation: a 5-day, a 3-day and a 1-day ride. All of the rides will be taking place from July 11th to the 15th. The 5-day ride begins in Barnegat, New Jersey and will be about 400 miles and start on July 11th, the 3-day ride will be approximately 250 miles and these riders will join the 5-day riders on July 13th, and the 1-day 25 mile ride is held on July 15th at Windward Beach Park in Brick, New Jersey.
The 5- and 3-day ride this year is bringing riders and support personnel from Barnegat, MD → Rehoboth Beach, DE → Chincoteague, VA → Georgetown, DE → Vineland, NJ and finally → Brick, NJ. As one might expect with a route like this, the terrain is essentially flat, but there will also be some "ups and downs" throughout the route as is typical of most longer rides.
